The Maury County Public Schools Board of Education had the honor of being led in the Pledge of Allegiance by the students of Mt. Pleasant Elementary School during the September 3rd, 2024, meeting. The group of bright young students stood proudly as they led the room in this patriotic moment.

In addition to leading the pledge, Mt. Pleasant Elementary was also recognized for the vibrant artwork created by its students. Their colorful and creative tiger-themed drawings added an energetic and warm touch to the meeting room. Each piece displayed the students' talent and dedication to artistic expression, reminding us of the importance of creativity in education.

MCPS extends a special thank you to Mt. Pleasant Elementary for their contributions to the meeting and for representing their school with such pride. We look forward to seeing more amazing accomplishments from these young students in the future!
